American Loss Mitigation Services Teams With Short Sale Holdings
(PRWEB) October 6, 2008 -- American Loss Mitigation Services (ALMS), a foreclosure prevention company, recently chose Short Sale Holdings, LLC (SSH) as their exclusive vendor to distribute the ALMS Short Sale Investor Training program.
The decision to appoint Short Sale Holdings as their exclusive vendor was made after many interviews with other vendors. Those interviews were to assess the skills required to perform in many aspects, including knowledge of the short sale industry, exceptional customer service, suitable website design and solid financial management practices.
Donna Atwater, ALMS co-founder and CEO, said, "The decision was not taken lightly. We looked for someone who is trustworthy, can handle themselves in all aspect of the business, along with having excellent customer service skills."
"Jim Hutchinson, manager of Short Sale Holdings," Mrs. Atwater continued, "was the perfect choice for us. I know of his prior experience and have worked on various projects with him, including the foreclosure prevention industry. He taught me most of what I know about marketing. My partner and I are confident that he will be an asset to helping us reach our vision of stopping foreclosure through education. Because our education teaches individuals how to ethically and honestly help homeowners facing foreclosure it was imperative for us to find someone that we trusted to maintain our reputation. Short Sale Holdings fits the bill."
Mr. Hutchinson recently left a foreclosure loss mitigation company that he helped form in 2003 to start Short Sale Holdings. The new company is aimed at reaching home owners who were declined loss mitigation services and are destined to lose their homes.
When asked why Mr. Hutchinson chose the short sales business, he said, "Before I knew much about short sales, I thought it was a bad thing for the home owners. After learning more however, I learned that short sales are actually good for the economy. ALMS takes their business a step further. I found that, unlike others, their focus truly is the homeowner. They have created a new breed of investor and short sale. They allow a distressed home owner to walk away from the property virtually unscathed, give the banks most of their money back and provide compensation for the investors that help them. It is a win-win situation for all involved with the right company and one that I can feel good about promoting."
"Having worked with Donna Atwater previously I know her to be honest and having a strong passion for helping homeowners." Mr. Hutchinson continued, "Together with her partner, ALMS was created to help these homeowners, transition then from foreclosure eventually back into home ownership again, plus to train select individuals with performing the short sale. That is something I want to be a part of."
The ALMS Short Sale Investor Training program is carefully designed to teach aspiring investors all they need to know, from acquiring short sale leads, completing and filing the paperwork, to closing the transaction legally and dealing with the title companies. Interestingly, they have gone the extra mile and left nothing out including all the tools to help the investors manage their business and further help the homeowners after foreclosure. ALMS principals reported that over $100,000 has gone into research and materials.
Donna Atwater stated that, "Of all the materials and information we have purchased, we found most of it to be seriously lacking or outdated by standards today. However, short sales are still worth teaching, so we combined that with our daily successful practices, our passion and love for helping and put them all together into one training program."
Having had a sneak peak at their extensive training and tools, it appears they have made this easy for even the most novice of individuals. They seem to be extremely detail oriented and dedicated to making sure their program is workable and easy to follow.
